Advisory Committee
The Academy for Teaching & Learning Advisory Committee provides strategic guidance, perspective, and feedback in support of ATL’s mission to inspire, support, and advance a flourishing academic community at Baylor University. Meeting monthly, the Committee advises ATL leadership on existing and emerging programs, services, and priorities; identifies opportunities for innovation and improvement; and provides insight into the needs and experiences of educators across the University.
The Advisory Committee also serves as an important connection between ATL and the broader Baylor community. Members help strengthen communication across academic units, increase awareness of ATL resources and initiatives, and connect the Academy with people, ideas, and opportunities that can advance teaching and learning across the University.
Membership is designed to represent Baylor’s academic community broadly and includes faculty from across the University’s schools, colleges, and libraries. Members are selected through Baylor’s University Committee on Committees and serve terms of up to three years, creating opportunities for regular rotation and continued representation of diverse perspectives from across the institution.
