This workshop will highlight effective course design, student engagement, and assessment strategies. It is oriented toward those who are new to college teaching or want to brush up on pedagogical basics in preparation for the Fall semester. All instructors, including adjunct faculty and graduate student teachers of record, are welcome to attend.

This free, day-long workshop provides graduate student instructors with a basic toolkit for effective teaching, assessment, and course design. Participants will get insights and guidance from Baylor's excellent faculty and receive hands-on training in critical skills such as effective lecturing, active learning, grading, and interacting with students.Graduate students at all experience levels are encouraged to attend.
