Preapproved TeaCHE Category 5 Events

Interested in attending a seminar, forum, or workshop on higher education teaching and learning for TeaCHE Category 5 credit? Drop us a line at atl@baylor.edu.

Academy for Teaching & Learning Seminars for Excellence in Teaching (SET) are automatically approved for Category 5 points under Item I. All other workshops and events would be claimed for Category 5 under Item A.

Pre-Approved Events (5.A)

• Academy for Teaching & Learning
  • Adjunct Teaching Workshop
  • Any ATL special event with a clear higher education teaching and learning focus will be accepted. If in doubt, check with the TeaCHE coordinator via Canvas.
• Baylor University Graduate School, "Practical Pedagogy" sessions in the Graduate Pathways for Success Series
• Learning Design team of the Library and Academic Technology Services (LATS) division of University Libraries
  • Any workshop published via the Library Workshops calendar in the Learning Design Services category

Remember: Use 5.I (the letter i) for ATL Seminars for Excellent in Teaching. Use 5.A for other ATL events and programs.
