Joshua Jonas

Joshua Jonas is a Ph.D. candidate in Curriculum and Instruction (Educational Technology) at Baylor University, with over 14 years of secondary teaching and administrative leadership experience in the Caribbean. His research focuses on educational technology implementation and sustainable digital adoption in resource-constrained K–12 contexts, with particular attention to post-ESSER funding sustainability and cost-efficiency. His dissertation uses a qualitative case study approach to examine technology implementation barriers in Waco ISD. More broadly, his scholarship explores AI literacy and curriculum innovation, game-based learning with learning analytics, and digital equity through teacher capacity building. Joshua currently serves as a Graduate Fellow with Baylor’s Academy for Teaching and Learning, supporting faculty development and evidence-based instructional innovation.
