Co-Writing: A Productive Approach for Coauthoring, Collaborating, and Creating Stronger Intellectual Communities
Are you interested in advancing your collaborative research projects and writing? In this interactive webinar, we will introduce you to co-writing, which is a highly collaborative method that boosts levels of support, accountability, and connection with co-authors. In contrast to more traditional forms of coauthoring, where two (or more) scholars meet to discuss a project and then take responsibility for writing different sections of a paper on their own time, collective co-writing flips the script. Specifically, team members use their meetings to outline, draft, and edit their manuscript synchronously.
In this webinar, we will guide you through the steps of co-writing and offer valuable tips. Whether you are leading a research lab, part of an interdisciplinary team, coauthoring a project with people from different universities, or a team of academic leaders with minimal research time, co-writing can help increase your productivity and create stronger connections with your collaborators.
